Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Childhood Center is pleased to announce a partnership with Jet Blue Airways.   The partnership will support several school initiatives – the first, to promote literacy through volunteer readers.

On Friday, October 28, 2011 Jet Blue launched its first project with the school.  Several trees were planted in the school’s playground area.  Faculty, staff, students and community members were present for the tree planting celebration.  Ms. Gabrielle Coleman, Principal of Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Childhood, stated, “We are delighted with our new trees and look forward to seeing them grow and provide shade and beauty for future students of M.L.K.  We are also very grateful to have Jet Blue partner with us and we know that through this partnership we will come closer to our shared goal of helping our children broaden their horizons. ”
